Benka Received Innovation Award for the First and Only Product in the World

Designed with the experience of Benka Beekeeping, where professional German and Swiss beekeepers took part in R&D studies, the Wax Washing Tank was first introduced to beekeepers at the Turkey Beekeeping Fair held in Europe and then in Istanbul. The product, which is the first and only in the world and was exhibited simultaneously in Italy and Istanbul, attracted great attention in the beekeeping sector.

The innovative product, which received full marks from visitors and representatives of the beekeeping sector at the Turkish Beekeeping Fair held at the Istanbul Fair Center between February 29 and March 3, was deemed worthy of the 2024 Innovation Award by the Innovation Award Committee formed by the Turkish Beekeeping Fair. Our Chairman of the Board of Directors Mehmet Vahdettin Küçükbenli received the award on behalf of Benka Beekeeping.

Benka Beekeeping Chairman of the Board of Directors Mehmet Vahdettin Küçükbenli, who provided information about his new product, said,

“Our patented product, designed as a result of R&D studies we conducted with German and Swiss beekeepers in order to fulfill our mission of facilitating beekeeping activities, increases and accelerates the recycling of beeswax, and prevents bee diseases from being transferred to the next season. This particularly helps slow down the bee deaths experienced today and financially recovers beeswax, which is a national asset. We understand from the feedback we received in Germany, Austria, Italy and finally Istanbul that the designed product is truly a need. “We are happy and proud that the Turkish Beekeeping Fair delegation deemed us worthy of the Innovation Award. We will continue to develop and facilitate world beekeeping,” he said.
