Manual Honey Extractor
A manual honey extractor is a piece of equipment used to separate honey from the combs and filter bee parts and other residues. This machine is usually preferred for small-scale beekeeping businesses or home use. Its operating principle is quite simple and does not require the use of electricity.
A manual honey extractor usually consists of the following parts:
Filter Barrel: It has a barrel or container used to separate and filter honey from the combs. This barrel is usually made of stainless steel or food-grade plastic.
Strainer: It holds the honey as it passes through the combs and bee parts during the filtering of honey.
Filter Lid: It covers the top of the filter barrel and allows the honey and honey placed inside to be filtered.
Filter Fabric or Filter: Fabric or filter that holds the bee parts and other residues in the honey as it passes through the combs during the filtering of honey.
Filter Clamps or Fixing Devices: Clamps or fixing devices that hold the filter barrel and its lid together.
Manual honey extractor is a very effective and easy to use tool for extracting and filtering honey from combs during the honey production process. However, electric honey extractors may be preferred in larger scale businesses or in places where intensive production is carried out.
